New Pattern: Bosque Leaves Quilt Pattern

In Albuquerque where I live, the Bosque refers to the stretch of open space on either side of the Rio Grande. "Bosque", of course, means forest in Spanish. The Bosque along the river is home to giant cottonwood trees, willows, porcupines, coyotes, sandhill cranes, owls, and all number of living things. I go to the Bosque almost daily for a walk or run with my dog, and I love walking through the willow stands by the river while Piper jumps in to cool off. It's one of the most relaxing places to me, and this quilt is a tribute of sorts.
